Allow Cancer To Change You

Mind Blown!


It kind of blows my mind, after being in the cancer reversal business for over 20 years, that most people still believe in the notion of beating cancer, cancer sucks, f#*! cancer, killing cancer cells, etc.

That’s not what cancer, and all other disease experiences are about.

When we have a disease experience it’s a signal we’ve departed from the course of nature.

When we depart from the course of nature, our cells have to adapt.

Often, that adaptation becomes a struggle for survival for them and then for us.

The pains we feel, the diagnoses we experience, are signs our cells are under strain.

So, what puts them under strain?

I learned more than 20 years ago, one of the biggest contributors to the disease process is not diet and exercise, despite that myth still being perpetuated even today.

Yes, a LOT can be mitigated by diet and exercise. Type 2 diabetes can be thwarted completely with diet and exercise. By now, that’s a given.

Many joint difficulties can be solved by adjusting sugar and other complex carbohydrates in one’s diet.

But just try to solve the mysteries of other diseases and you may find yourself in the same boat I found myself in all those years ago.

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t heard of anyone (including me!) reversing cancer by changing their diet.

Like many people, I thought the more I cleaned up my diet, the better chance I had to become well.

So, while I already had a well above average diet – never ate junk food, never ate fast food, abstained for the most part from processed sugars, and complex carbs, etc. – I went even further by embarking on a hyper clean diet. And I stayed on this diet for 8 years.

Guess what happened?

My health didn’t improve.

In fact, just the opposite happened.

My health continued to deteriorate.

At the same time, I studied alternative and complementary therapies, learned how to read medical research, practiced Yoga everyday, meditated, used myself as a Petrie dish, did everything I could possibly think of to improve my health.

After all that effort, all the learning, all the practice…..

I was given 3-6 months to live.

Nothing worked.

I didn’t know what else could be done.

I was stuck in the biggest way possible.

There were no more alternatives. No more to do’s.

Have you ever had that feeling?

You have a problem – maybe even a big one like cancer?

Or you don't have enough money?

Or you feel trapped in a relationship?

Trapped in a job?

I’ve been there too.

And every time I’ve been in that ultra-stuck situation, I’ve found there’s one more thing I could do.

And that one thing has led to the biggest breakthroughs of my life.

I was able to overcome cancer and enjoy the best health of my life for more than 20 years now.

I was able to break the glass ceiling of income and started to enjoy a 7 figure income, become mortgage free, travel, and enjoy the lifestyle I’ve always dreamed about.

I was able to end toxic and dysfunctional relationships and acquire inspiring and substantive relationships.

And I’ve been able to do the work I’m so passionate about – helping people learn to heal their own bodies from even the worst disease experiences.

So, what is this one thing that has the power to move the needle in such a profound fashion?


Changing Myself


The minute I recognize that all the things I’ve tried are still not changing my outcomes is the minute I have the opportunity to change me.

What does that look like?

I know now from both experience and studying the roots of medical Qi Gong for more than 10 years that there’s a formula for solving the most deeply rooted problems we face.

The formula goes something like this:

  1. Change what I do
  2. Change what I think
  3. Change what I feel
  4. Change my intention (the real driver of beliefs and behaviors and therefore, results)


Change What I Do


This is where most of us start, including me. Change of habits, change of strategy, change of products and gizmos. We can get different results from changing what we do, but they tend to be limited or temporary results.

Take your finances as an example. If you want more money, you can take on the habit of saving money, and investing money. All the things we’re taught are great money strategies. But if you’re really looking for stratospheric change, and a real revenue revolution, basic saving and investing strategies won’t do it.

What does do it is identifying the obstacles that result in money limitations. Then, removing those obstacles with neuro-rewiring. And that's just a start!

The process is similar when faced with a cancer diagnosis.

You can do all the right things and still not get the results you want. In fact, that’s what most people do, including me.

The system is set up that way.

We’re expected to respond to a cancer diagnosis in a way that meets the healthcare system where it's at.

Not where we're at or where we really want to be, which is completely DONE with cancer.

We’re expected to shrink our desired outcome to the outcome the healthcare system can provide.

This is backwards of course, but it took me years to recognize it.

Just breaking that pattern of thinking can begin to set your body free from the trap of limited results we’ve all been trained to expect from institutional cancer care.

Which brings me to the next category of change...


Change What I Think


It takes some guts to change your thinking. How, what, and why you think of things the way you do becomes a compelling part of your comfort zone.

It’s a mark of character and sometimes even heroism to challenge that part of your way of being. It’s a challenge in large part because mostly, we humans don’t even know what we’re thinking.

Most of our thinking, about 95% of it, is played out in the subconscious mind. That means we don’t even know what it is.

And add to that, most of that 95% is negatively flavored. And yes, that applies even to the most upbeat people.

This negative slant to our subconscious thinking is no one’s fault. It’s just the way the mind is wired.

So, what can we do?

We can start by challenging our thinking.

We challenge our thinking based on results.

Here’s how I do it....

If I’m not getting results I desire in an area of life OR if I’m not fulfilling my potential in an area of life, I now know there’s thinking behind those results that isn’t serving me.

I start by watching out for negative thinking.

As soon as I start watching my thoughts, I'm given a glimpse into the world of the subconscious mind.

When I notice negative thoughts and thought patterns, I stop them.

And the key here is DO NOT try to replace negative thinking with positive thinking. If you replace one kind of noise with another kind of noise, you will never penetrate the subconscious mind and you won’t leave room for your natural, limitless creativity to blossom.


Change How I Feel


Most people think they're trapped in their feelings. This belief leads to things like depression, mood swings, uncontrolled outbursts and an entire plethora of chemical production that directly affects physiology.

I often wonder how our lives and our world – not to mention our view of healthcare! – would be different if we’re taught from a young age that we not only have control of our emotions, but we have the ability to DESIGN our emotional lives.

Instead, we’re trained in the fear of things like cancer, due in large part to the fear others have about cancer and many other life topics.

But what if we didn’t fear cancer?

What if we didn’t react to cancer as others react to it?

If we already know the path to reverse cancer, then we don’t need to be afraid of it.

If we know the thing that contributes to the development of cancer, we don’t need to be afraid of it.

If the things that largely contribute to cancer are within our control, rather than out of our reach (like ozone layers, toxic chemicals, radio waves, etc.), then we have less reason to be afraid of it.

When we learn how to withhold our responses to stimulus, we then can become the stimulus the world responds to.

That’s when cancer doesn’t have a chance.

Begin to harness your emotional power by taking note of negative emotions. Then, right before you're swept away with the feeling, ask yourself this: "Do I need to participate in this feeling?"

This question gives you the space and opportunity to make a different decision.


Change My Intention


This one can seem pretty tricky, but it doesn’t have to be.

It’s also the area where the most profound and permanent changes can be made.

Of all 4 areas – doing, thinking, feeling, and intention – it’s intention that is in the driver’s seat.

One of the big obstacles with changing intention is that we are mostly completely unaware of what our intentions are.

Our intentions are the realm of the subconscious mind.

They are the driving force of our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, AND results.

What we think of as our intentions are our conscious thoughts about our intentions.

Very few of us intend to be mean, hurtful, out of control, or even vicious.

Our conscious thoughts – that we’re kind, truthful, thoughtful, and harmless – don’t take into account our minds are wired to avoid pain, protect us from potential or real harm, seek comfort at almost all costs.

When you look at the mind that way, it’s easy to understand how we fall into these traps of getting unwanted results despite what nice people we are.

These things come as repetitive surprises to us simply because we’re not aware of subconscious intentions which are formed largely by past experiences and programming.

I’ll give you an example.

No one consciously works at a job they hate or one that constantly leaves them frustrated and unsatisfied.

People work at dead end jobs for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the security of an income.

To the subconscious mind, security is paramount. It will prioritize safety and security above all else, even if it leads to your death.

This can lead to one of those major life stuck moments.

It can seem as though there’s no way out.

This is what subconscious drivers feel like.

They feel real.

But they’re only a program.

And we already know the programs of the subconscious mind can be re-programmed to something that produces better results.

It’s not something that’s out of reach for the every day person and it’s not reserved for a special few.

ANYONE can do it with extremely few exceptions.

When our bodies start to “fall apart” or give us warning signs, like cancer, it’s just a message. And more likely than not, you know what the message is, but have set it aside as not as important.

The messages leave tell-tale precursor signs in 12 Key Areas of Life.

Tell tale signs like the following:

  • Averse to learning new things, learning stops with the end of school
  • Emotional stagnation, allowing emotions to run you rather than designing how you will feel
  • Unaware of how to influence and create energy in your body, surprised by diagnoses
  • A typically aging body - aches, pains, lack of strength and flexibility
  • Following tradition rather than participating in personal growth
  • Poverty, limited financial access, financial stress
  • Doing uninspiring work or in a dead end job
  • Dysfunctional or toxic relationships
  • Unsatisfied with where and how you live
  • Breaking down as you age or resisting aging
  • Not knowing your purpose or how to find out
  • Suffering under strain

These are your real symptoms. These are the symptoms that precede medical symptoms. These are the symptoms you have genuine capacity to influence in the most magical and permanent ways.

Where do you start?

It all starts with tickling your awareness.

You want to engage your awareness because without it you, along with the rest of us, just wander around like you always do, aware of what you do sometimes, but unaware most of the time of WHY you do it.

The changes you need to make to become a less welcome host to cancer, to set it back and prevent it begins with taking stock and designing a different way to respond to stimulus. When you can respond to the stimulus in your life in a different way, you can make a different chemical atmosphere in your body.

This is how you allow cancer to change you - in the best manner possible.
